China clones Ducati bike to fight Honda

A new Chinese bike copies the design of the new Ducati, to try to challenge the incredible Honda brand.

The model is a sports car from QJMotor, and it looks a lot like the Ducati Panigale. The Chinese brand is looking to compete in motorcycle models up to 700 cc.

If we stop to think about Chinese motorcycles, the first image that comes to mind is a street bike or a scooter.

So QJMotor wants to change the view of the West, and bet on the new sports bike, to compete with the new Yamaha R7 and the new Honda that is coming, the new CB 600F Hornet.

QJMotor is not yet known in Brazil, but it is part of the same Geely group since 2016.

The motorcycle manufacturer is also in the same group that includes Polestar, Volvo, Link & Co and other successful brands in the world.

Anyway, it is close to the Shineray and Haojue brands, which are the biggest brands that manufacture motorcycles in China.

The motorcycle industry is being reborn with sport models with 600cc and 700cc engines.

The images and information of this sports model have already leaked on the internet and were released by the Chinese media.

The automaker will launch this project that until now is called 700RR.

Although the brand has authorization from the Italian brand to produce and sell suspensions, it will not be able to develop all the parts. This is Marzocchi's own responsibility.

The Chinese motorcycle's brake system is also from the Brembo brand.

The reason for the leaks of the images, was because of a discussion on social networks, due to the similarity in appearance with the Ducati Panigale V4 SP.

It is not quite a clone, like other Chinese projects, so they are very similar.

So far we have no information if the model comes to Brazil, but we can expect that for sure soon we will be seeing some passing through the streets.

Despite the brand being a giant in China, they gave some information that they still have no plans to sell their models outside the country.
