New Audi Q5 2025

The new 2025 Audi Q5 appears to be similar to the Chinese model. So, keep reading and check out what Giro dos Motores has prepared!

The latest scoop in the world of cars shows several prototypes of the next fighter BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC of the four-ring brand driving in the snow, in an Audi motorcade.

Everything indicates that this new release comes with some of the design updates.

Equipped with the final production headlights, by the looks of it, these testers reveal that the new Q5 will have a much smaller grille compared to the outgoing iteration.

The central entrance in the front bumper has increased in size, and the side openings are much smaller.

The roofline is a little arched at the rear, but not as much because there's also a Sportback variant coming up to take on the GLC Coupe and X4.

The new taillights are partially visible underneath the vinyl decals and have slimmer proportions. The tailgate of this Audi Q5 is also new and the license plate holder has been moved up.

The bumper is a little cleaner, and we can see exhaust tips coming out of the new diffuser, in different shapes and sizes.

Audi will also revamp the wheels and colors of the upcoming Audi Q5 to further differentiate it from its predecessor.

Plus, as we've already said, we get a glimpse of the not-so-upscale-looking interior, with its two tablet-like screens, multi-layer dash panel, new steering wheel and gear selector knob.

Overall, the design updates make it look like a cheap crossover signed by a Chinese company few people have heard of, when it comes to the exterior anyway.

But who knows, maybe it'll look nice once the fake fur comes off, and it might be a while before that happens because it's rumored to apply for a US visa as a 2025 model.

That means the new Audi Q5 could be introduced later in the year or early 2024.

And the biggest news is that it will obviously retain the firepower of internal combustion.

It is believed to launch with a range of mild and plug-in hybrid powertrains and perhaps an overseas diesel engine or two.

A battery-electric derivative doesn't appear to be in the works, but the hot SQ5 is, as we've seen it in the wild.

The sports model will likely feature a V6 with 48-volt assistance and up to 370 hp produced, an increase of 20 or more over the current one, which does 0 to 97 km/h in 4.7 seconds.

Therefore, the Audi Q5 still has outstanding features of its predecessor, plus new features for customers.
