New Golf R 2023 will arrive with 330 horsepower
The new Volkswagen Golf R 2023 comes more powerful and can reach more than 330 hp of power.
This will be a version to commemorate 20 years of the sporty R version, which only produced a few cars, and only for one year in 2002.
Volkswagen has already talked about its launch, and that it will be the most powerful model in all history.
So the Golf R 20 years, comes to celebrate the anniversary of the sports division “R”, of the incredible German company.
With a 2.0 engine generating 333 hp of power and 42.8 kgfm of torque, with a seven-speed dual clutch system.
We still don't have information about the actual performance of the car. But it is probably much more aggressive than the previous one, which already reached 270 km/h and did 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds.
This in the normal R version, now in this 20th anniversary version, will be even better.
Anyway, this new model will come out with an exhaust with four tips, made in titanium by Akrapovic.
In this new version, Volkswagen only made available two colors. Either blue with gloss black accents, or the option in white with blue accents.
The car always uses Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

Inside the car, the highlight is the all-carbon finish. It also has an “R” button on its steering wheel, but unfortunately Volkswagen has not yet revealed what this feature will be.
With some information, the new Golf R 2023 celebrating its 20th anniversary, can be booked from June 2, in the European market.
According to the website “Drive”, Volkswagen did not say how many units of this model will be produced. It only informed that it will be produced for only one year.
Volkswagen launched the first Golf R in 2002, with a V6 engine generating 241 hp. Quite different from this model that they are going to launch, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the “R” line.
