To be unveiled in New York City, the unibody sport utility vehicle is equipped with a full-width dashboard display. Exceptionally distracting, the screen in question is accompanied by a floating-style touchscreen for the infotainment system, which obviously runs SYNC 4.

The problem is that there are many unanswered questions. Where will it be mounted, what platform supports it and what Ford Will Edge also be redesigned for the US market? We just don't know for now, but we do know that $ 1.8 billion (R$8.9 billion) is going into the Oakville Assembly Complex.

The refurb will begin in the second quarter of 2024, with series production scheduled to restart in 2025. The refurb will see the Ontario plant renamed the Oakville Electric Vehicle Complex.
