Original factory steed II and 0km since 1986

A Ford model Corcel II, from the year 1986, was found original from the factory and 0 km until today.

It looks incredible, but one of the cars Ford most emblematic produced in Brazil.

Anyway, it's still practically 0 km (only 96 km run) and totally original from the factory, it's a 1986 L steed II, penultimate chassis produced.

The car spent years stored at the Buchalla dealership in Presidente Prudente and belonged to the owner of the company until it passed into the hands of rarity hunter Reginaldo de Campinas.

That has already passed the rarity to another collector, at the moment the car is not for sale, but it is a relic that deserves to be appreciated.

Produced in Brazil from 1968 to 1986, the Corcel II was elected the car of the year by Auto Esporte magazine in 1969, 1973 and 1979.

The front and rear lights, as a trend at the time, were rectangular and enveloping.

In the year 1980, Ford introduced the 1.6-liter engine for the Corcel II, with a 4-speed gearbox, with slightly longer ratios.

The Corcel II did 0 to 100 km/h in about 17 seconds, and the top speed was 148 km/h.

Enough to walk alongside its main competitor, the VW Passat 1500, but far behind the 1600 version.

The versions offered were the basic Corcel II, L and the luxurious LDO, with a fully carpeted interior and panel with synthetic wood applications.

There was also the GT, which was distinguished by a sporty three-spoke steering wheel, a padded black rim and a small tachometer on the dashboard.
