BMW X5 2024: with updates

The 2024 BMW X5 has been announced in America that will have updates. Keep reading and check out what the Giro dos Motores website has prepared for you!

It may not matter much to a potential customer BMW, but according to the recently updated configurator, the BMW X5 will have a Life Cycle Impulse (LCI) value starting at R$343.427.

That's an increase of just R$6,847 over the previous iteration for the cheapest version of the BMW X5, which is the sDrive40i.

The “s” in “sDrive” means you don't get all-wheel drive, but the beefy three-litre gas engine remains under the hood.

Things look a little different when you want to upgrade to the xDrive-equipped Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV, that's what Bavarians call their SUVs that aren't made to handle off-road) - the price difference between the LCI-ed and non-LCI models are R$18.962.

Official data shows that the brand has added the illuminated kidney-shaped grille (which, fortunately, is not oversized), almost 100 hp more and an EV autonomy that has increased by 16km.

It can now go over 60 m/h on electricity alone, thanks to a usable 25.7 kWh battery, and total powertrain power has increased to 483 hp (490 ps) and 516 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque.

All this tells us that the X5 PHEV can be a great tool for both commuting and long distances.

But these improvements don't come cheap. The updated SAV base price jumped from R$346,061 to R$381,879. However, it's worth exploring what the new configurator allows us to do.

Right off the bat, we added the M Sport look. Unfortunately, the Phytonic Blue Metallic color is no longer among the options presented, so we opted for the Manhattan Green Metallic because it reminds us of the model that was leaked before the official launch.

They kept the 20-inch wheels and Merino Coffee Extended Leather that were optional on the pre-LCI X5.

If this shade is not to your liking, the German automaker offers a wide palette of paints where you can find the color that best suits your style. Just remember that the waiting time can increase considerably when an individual paint option is chosen.

In this way, we can see that among these updates on the BMW X5 2024, what stands out most is the value that has increased.

But, there's no denying that these updates left the BMW X5 2024 much better.
