New Ineos electric SUV 2026

The new Ineos SUV model year 2026 according to the automaker will be fully electric. Check out what's new about this car below!

THE Ineos Automotive officially confirms a new model for market launch in 2026.

The company that builds the Grenadier as the ideological successor to the classic Land Rover Defender "which is leakproof and comfortable", makes the announcement with a press release focused on its partnership with Magna.

The two companies will work together on the development and production of the new all-electric four-wheel drive sport utility vehicle.

Not much is known at the moment, but Ineos says the new product will be a unique proposition in the SUV segment. It will be smaller than the Grenadier and will offer "world-class off-road capability without compromising on comfort or on-road performance".

Production of the off-roader will take place at Magna's factory in Graz, Austria, while part of the development process will also include a test program on the country's Schockl mountain.

“Having worked together engineering the Grenadier, we saw firsthand the value of applying Magna's agility, knowledge and experience to a complete vehicle development program.

Deepening our collaboration is a natural next step as we use the Grenadier as a springboard for our continued growth as a global automotive brand with this third model lineup,” comments Lynn Calder, CEO of Ineos Automotive.

The company doesn't want to share any more preliminary details about the new 4×4 electric SUV. However, from a recent report, we know that the EV will likely sit on a new bespoke platform with a range of around 400 kilometers per charge.

It will "look like a little brother" to the Grenadier, which likely means a chunky, boxy exterior styling shared with the company's first production model.

If that report is correct, Ineos will likely launch at least one more new SUV in the coming years.

There is speculation about a second electric vehicle with more focus on urban use and a slightly more refined design. A flagship luxury SUV based on the Grenadier is also being considered.
