Mercedes Class A 160 2004 still 0km and unused

A Mercedes-Benz A-Class 160 that is still 0km away and unused in the garage.

However, this is another one of those amazing stories about cars that were taken from the dealership and remained unused for years.

Finally leaving it to this day in a zero kilometer state.

This is the case of the Mercedes Benz Class A 2004 model. Which, by the way, was located in the city of Balneário Camboriú, in Santa Catarina.

Therefore, the model in question was found by Reginaldo de Campinas, one of the greatest specialists in finding rare and old vehicles for great collectors.

It is not known the real reason for the vehicle to have remained for long years in a state of disrepair in a garage, gathering only dust.

On his odometer it still shows only 000914 km driven. After all, this means that after almost 20 years, the vehicle is still in a zero kilometer state.

The A-Class 160 has a 1.6-litre, 8-valve gasoline engine. With four cylinders in line, and with an output of 102 hp.

After going through some tests, carried out by the automaker at the time. The A-Class showed that it was capable of generating a top speed of 180 km/h, and going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 11 seconds.

However, the Class A 160 was manufactured in Brazil between February 17, 1999 and August 15, 2005, in the city of Juiz de Fora, where the Mercedes-Benz plant was located.

So after almost 6 years of manufacture here in Brazil, it was discontinued after 63,402 copies were manufactured to make way for the imported version of the model.

Despite having reached a sales level considered acceptable, the model was not an even greater success because of its value at the time.

The car valued at approximately R$33 thousand reais (at the time), in the Classic version, which was a more basic version.
