New Chevrolet Silverado 3500 will arrive by the second half of 2023

We know that this current generation Chevrolet Silverado pickup hasn't changed in quite some time. While it is still very attractive, GM wants to update it to make it even better.

Sure we are about to see the Silverado 3500 HD 2023 with a lot of changes. According to some reports, this will be the most seamless update of the project, developed to date.

We still don't know much, but so far, this update will bring all sorts of new features, including the engine and appearance of the machine.

So there will be changes in style with some market news, but what they are most concerned about is the engine, a more powerful version of the brand's familiar turbo diesel.

Some rumors will also have the gasoline version in the same way. Relying on the same version of the 6.6-liter V8, which produces around 401 horsepower and 464 pounds of torque.

Transmission configurations, the diesel version will have a 10-speed automatic, and the gasoline version will use a traditional 6-speed automatic transmission from the older generation.

Chevrolet is about to introduce a new, more powerful version of the 6.6-liter Duramax V8 turbo diesel engine. We believe this is the biggest news of this update.

In this current version of the engine, it produces approximately 445 horsepower and 910 pounds of torque.

This upcoming model is expected to boost total horsepower to up to 525 horsepower and an incredible 1,085 lbs of torque. It will be much more powerful compared to the F-350 and more torque compared to the Ram 3500HD.

Also, the new engine on the 2023 Silverado 3500 HD should come with some typical updates. We can expect some styling changes, particularly on the front, which should receive some new elements, such as a grille, bumper, LEDs, etc.

The simplest light duty version is already about to be released, now in the year 2022, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see something similar to the Silverado 3500.
